Moscow employers are looking for employees in the regions
In some industries, wages in the regions are half lower than in Moscow. But with the advent of remote work, many metropolitan employers began to look for employees outside of Moscow and offer them a higher income.
Drivers and cooks are looking for in Kaliningrad
In the westernmost region of Russia, there is now an increased demand for drivers, cooks and vendors, the regional social policy ministry said. Drivers are needed everywhere, but the most highly paid are truckers. They can earn from 90 thousand rubles or more per month. Chefs are valued among chefs. As one of the Kaliningrad restaurateurs said, their salary can reach 120 thousand rubles.
The price also includes skilled workers. So, the chief engineer, process engineer can apply for a salary of 150 thousand rubles. The bar for IT specialists reaches 120 thousand rubles. The wages at the largest Kaliningrad plants are approaching the level of metropolitan industries.
Samarans choose remote work
The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region explained that now workers are most needed in manufacturing industries. Employment services have a record number of vacancies: 43,000, or one vacancy per 0.3 applicants. Payment at the Samara industries - from 17 to 40 thousand rubles.
But if you look for work through popular sites, then there is much more choice. As Dmitry Puchkov, development manager for Avito.Rabota, explained to RG, there are many offers for such employees as sales assistants, cashiers, sales managers, sales floor workers, merchandisers, merchandisers and loaders.
"To cover their needs, employers willingly accept people without experience and specialty in order to teach them all the skills and abilities on the spot - every tenth vacancy in the market of mass professions is suitable for beginners, and over the year their number has grown by 2.6 times," Puchkov explained. .
Salaries in Samara, he says, are noticeably behind those in Moscow. For example, a sales assistant in a communication salon of one of the telecommunications companies in Moscow can count on a salary of up to 65 thousand rubles a month, in Samara - for 37 thousand rubles, in the small Samara city of Chapaevsk - for 25 thousand rubles. However, not everything is so clear. For example, a merchandiser of a store of the same federal network in Moscow is promised from 47 thousand rubles, and in Samara - from 42.5 thousand rubles.
The remote market is also developing. In Samara alone, the number of telecommuting vacancies increased by 92% over the year. And among applicants this format is very popular, interest in it has increased by 81%. By the way, the sales sector leads in terms of the share of vacancies and among options for remote employment. Every fifth offer with the opportunity to work from home falls on the field of sales. In addition, 10% of remote vacancies belong to the "marketing, advertising, PR" group and 8% - to the IT-sphere. The median salaries offered to Samara residents remotely are even a little more than in positions with all types of work schedules: 32.5 thousand against 31.5 thousand rubles, Puchkov explained.
For example, now the aggregator database has such offers - a recruiter for a Moscow recruitment agency for remote personnel search (10 thousand rubles for each employee).
In the "Work in Russia" database, Samarans are offered a remote vacancy from the capital of a call center operator with an offer of 23,000 rubles. Out of almost 5,000 vacancies for Samara residents of the SuperJob job search service, 394 offered remote employment. These are mainly sales managers (up to 160 thousand rubles), programmers (up to 200 thousand rubles), public procurement managers (80 thousand rubles), there are also designers, engineers (from 60 thousand rubles), teachers for online schools (hourly pay).
Welders in the Urals are paid more than in Moscow
In the Urals, as in many regions, sellers are required (31% of the total number of vacancies in the region, the average offered salary is 46.6 thousand rubles), laborers (14%; 51.5 thousand rubles), builders (13% ; 55.8 thousand rubles), specialists in IT technologies (11%; 53.5 thousand rubles).
Salaries in the Urals lag behind those in Moscow by about 30%. Only welders can earn 100 thousand per month (in Moscow, the average salary for them is about 78 thousand rubles). But at the same time they can be sent to work in the northern regions.
More and more "remote" vacancies appear. Moscow companies are interested in candidates from other regions. According to hh.ru, in 2021, on average, employers from Moscow did not conduct every second interview with residents of the capital. Most often, this practice is used by companies from the extractive industry, as well as from the telecommunications and communications industry and IT companies.
Knowledge Discount
Muscovites also appreciated all the charms of remote work. And not only in the sense that you do not have to go to work, spending a lot of time and money on it, but also in the fact that you can now find a tutor for your children in the region at more affordable prices.
As Vladimir Lemeshevsky, director of the Kaliningrad tutoring center Educarium, told RG, the rates for local and metropolitan, as well as for students from other regions of Russia, do not differ: 1.8 thousand rubles for 60 minutes in the main profile - preparation for the Unified State Examination and the OGE . "But the regional tariff makes this service more affordable for Moscow families," says Vladimir Lemeshevsky.
In Samara, when working with Moscow students, tutors usually ask from 800 rubles for a 40-minute lesson (from 1,000 for an hour lesson). For local students, the rate is slightly lower. Muscovites really appreciate peripheral tutors, as their services are half the price, and the quality can be even better, according to local teachers.
“I take 700 rubles per hour as a tutor. The cost of classes is the same for students from all regions, I give discounts to students who work with me for a long time and diligently. language, UrFU student Kristina Kosyuk.
She added that the online format is convenient both for the teacher - you can be anywhere in the world and conduct classes, and for the student: there is no need to waste time on the road. After the pandemic, the young teacher would like to study online with adults and live with children.
