Preventive visit of the labor inspectorate

The visit of inspectors can help solve the problems of the organization related to labor legislation. This is not a check, which means that the company will not issue any fines.

Rostrud recalled that a preventive visit is one of the tools for interaction between the employer and the State Labor Inspectorate, which allows reducing the administrative burden on businesses. This is stated in the telegram channel of Rostrud.

A preventive visit is needed to:

understand what difficulties the employer faces;
identify risks that the employer himself has not yet seen;
help resolve identified problems;
prevent future violations.
Rostrud also reminded that there is no need to be afraid of the labor inspectorate's profile. Firstly, this is not a test, and secondly, no fines and punctures will be issued following the results of the meeting.

The employer himself can invite inspectors for a preventive visit to clarify the rules for compliance with labor laws.

In 2022, the labor inspectorate made 120,000 professional visits. Every tenth of them is initiated by the company itself.
