Undoubtedly, there are many advantages of freelance activities, but besides this, there is one big drawback: the negative impact of the way of activity on the body.
The main causes of various diseases in webmasters, copywriters, info-businessmen, web designers, illustrators and other free workers include:
Overwork of the joints of the hands.
Excessive strain on vision and eye strain.
Long pastime, sitting at the computer, i.e. sedentary activity.
Electromagnetic influence on the systems and organs of the human body.
stressful conditions.
In this article, I would like to pay attention to the last point, i.e. stress, the occurrence of various kinds of stressful situations and related ailments. The work of a freelancer, first of all, requires a high level of self-organization, which in itself is for the majority a difficult test for the nervous system, the human psyche. In the process of activity (especially if you want to make it successful), you should be able to organize a working day, have time to complete the work on time set by the customer, and always remember a large number of important things. And at the same time, as a rule, there is no person nearby who will remind, control, take responsibility in one way or another. Everything needs to be done quickly, organized and independently.
As a result, you often have to work literally both day and night (especially at first, when the mode of operation, routine, etc. is not yet established, and everything is done as it should, spontaneously). Over time, gaining experience, a freelancer will learn to correlate his abilities and abilities with desires and aspirations, to clearly understand what and when to do, and to rest and relax in time. But, before that time, overloads, overstrains, constant fatigue and rather monotonous work in a physical sense often lead to more or less serious disorders.
Therefore, the first thing that is important to understand is that you cannot redo all the work, and rest is no less important than the work itself for productive and successful activities. It is recommended to perform elementary and well-known actions (but, for some reason, many people forget about them):
Daily physical activity;
Daily walks in the fresh air;
Full sleep;
Healthy food;
In addition, it is good to use such methods of stress relief as yoga exercises, breathing practices, body flex gymnastics, dance therapy, just communication with loved ones and loved ones, or other, maybe interesting and original ways.
This point is very important, and by taking care of your health, nervous system and psyche, you can get more positive results in your work than exhausting yourself, overworking and giving yourself up to work too hard.
