Often circumstances develop in such a way that we have to change jobs. If you have already decided where you will go to work, and you have an interview coming up, then perhaps tips on how to pass an interview will help you.
Of course, there are no universal recommendations that you need to blindly follow, but still psychologists give us some tips and advice on how to pass an interview so that your candidacy looks more profitable and the employer prefers you.
1) It is not for nothing that they say that knowledge is power, try to get as much information as possible about the company in which you are going to get a job before the interview - look for information on the Internet, ask your friends, by the way, there is nothing wrong with asking company representatives.
2) Of course, it is very important to behave kindly and not provocatively. If you have any questions, please be specific and clear. By the way, you should not be interested in the size of wages, the duration of vacation, and so on in advance. Managers don't like these kinds of questions. Show your interest and motivation, but still find out and clarify the scope of your responsibilities. Do not be surprised by the questions “who do you see yourself in the future”, “what are your plans”, “what do you expect from work” and so on. They are quite logical and the employer should also know what to expect when hiring you. Also, you should not be embarrassed by questions about your strengths and weaknesses and why you left your previous job.
3) Regardless of whether you will work in this place or not - do not be late and remember that you are perceived the way you present yourself. It is also very important to think about your clothes. There is no standard dress code, you need to proceed from the policy of the organization you are going to - in production this is one form of clothing, in creative organizations - another, in business organizations the third. But it would still be better to wear something businesslike and not very bright, so that the clothes do not distract your employers from your person and they do not think that you are a frivolous person. Although, the same can play into your hands in some situations.
4) When talking, maintain eye contact - this will add to your self-confidence. Do not interrupt - this is elementary politeness, but at the same time, if you do not understand something, then do not hesitate to ask again, and answer the questions in essence, try not to be frank, this is not interesting to everyone and may initially show you how too talkative a person which is not always appreciated.
5) Be sure to write a resume correctly, indicate your education, achievements, if you don’t know what to boast about, then write that you are a conscientious, responsible, diligent person so that the employer feels that this is the kind of employee the company needs.
6) It would be nice if you provided references from a previous job.
7) At the end of the interview, specify how you can find out the results, it would be better if you agree on the time of your call. When leaving, do not forget about the rules of courtesy and behave with dignity in any situation.
