How to overcome the psychological crisis of the status of an unemployed person
Work, work... Someone's heart warms at the sound of this word, because he truly loves and is proud of his work, someone, on the contrary, frowns annoyedly, remembering all the disadvantages that await him in a hated workplace.
Work, work... Someone's heart warms at the sound of this word, because he truly loves and is proud of his work, someone, on the contrary, frowns annoyedly, remembering all the disadvantages that await him in a hated workplace.
And someone shyly looks away, because he is now in the status of unemployed. Unfortunately, the smoothly flowing economic crises into one another, the tough policy of commercial enterprises, aimed at careful selection of personnel and ruthless weeding out of all those who do not meet the accepted criteria, have made job loss a completely common thing today, which, of course, is sad. A small percentage of society and completely parasitism perceives because of their laziness or social depravity as a blessing in life, brushing aside the need to work in all possible ways. But, today we will not talk about the latter, but about those who really want to be found by a truly beloved and adequate job in all respects.
What is a really good job today and what is an ideal employee? Consider in this perspective two positions at once - a potential boss and an applicant for a vacancy. Payment question. Here, of course, it comes to the ridiculous. Each of us, mere mortals, is not averse to settling on the pages of Forbes, but company leaders, in order to save money, tend to pay their employees, the less the better. True, competent representatives of both sides are ready to make reasonable compromises, lowering their demands and raising their proposals. Of course, when we are looking for a job, we will prefer a higher paid place to a place with an unattractive salary, even if it is very interesting in another respect.
The question of qualifications and performance of the required duties. Here, as in that joke, every employer wants people with at least two higher educations, not older than thirty years, but with twenty years of work experience, even to serve as cleaners. Nonsense, but the practice is really like that. Therefore, young professionals have to hook or by crook to get their first bumps in low-paid, unpromising positions, and already established professionals, even with gray hair in their hair, go to college desks, attend all kinds of courses and trainings in order to meet the high requirements of employers.
A matter of convenient schedule. It's the same with payment. They want us to work 25 hours a day, 13 months a year, but we want to get a standardized working day granted by law, no rush jobs, normal vacations and sick leave in a paid format. Compromises are also inevitable in this criterion - employers call us with acceptable working conditions, but we turn a blind eye to delays that occur after the end of the working day, calls on weekends and other emergency situations. In a word, summarizing all of the above, I would like to note that solving the problem of unemployment, and it worries both sides - both specialists and business owners - can only be achieved by reaching compromises, making reasonable concessions to each other.
