Friends from Asia began to appear in the kitchen instead of skilled workers. I have nothing against them, I'm even happy for them. After all, if a Russian person ended up in the same Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan as a kitchen worker, he would be crushed there and would not be allowed to breathe in peace. It becomes frankly insulting and annoying. First, you study this craft for 4 years, then you work sparing no effort and health in various institutions in order to gain qualifications and experience. After all, the more knowledge, the more wages are possible. And here is a live example.
A young guy from Asia gets a job as an employee in the kitchen. He takes out the garbage and washes the kitchen utensils, all sorts of frying pans and boilers. Not even 3 months pass before he becomes the cook of the procurement workshop, although he does not speak Russian perfectly, not to mention his skills. It turns out that you can take any person from the street, train him and he will work without education?? Moreover, he receives a salary no less than educated cooks who work hard from morning to night for 25,000 rubles. Where's the justice?? It turns out that Moscow is already hiring anyone, just to work. About half a year passes, and this guy is already spinning rolls and sushi in Japanese cuisine :))) I was very surprised and shocked. And such Asians are already more than half of the restaurant. You begin to catch yourself thinking that I am the guest of the capital and that I came to work for you.
The next young Asian, after the next course of a young fighter, got into the position of a hot shop, not having the slightest idea what to do there and how :)))) My hysterical laughter began after I found out about it. The next one was placed in the position of the cold shop. I cannot express in words how hard it is to work in this shop. Sometimes it's harder there than hot. He had to explain all this in Russian, in foreign terms. A simple person will not immediately remember all the names. So, this guy is standing and looking at everything that happens with his eyes, like a blind man. Of course, he does not know that there are more than 10 types of lettuce leaves.
What about the boss, you ask? And the authorities don't care. The main thing for them is that the restaurant makes a profit, and how and how it does not matter. After all, a simple visitor does not even suspect who prepared this or that dish.
The question becomes, and what about those cooks who have spent quite a few years on their skill and professionalism, what to do with it ?? Many leave and work as bartenders, some in a completely different industry. Previously, all people believed that the cook is a very popular and well-paid job. Now the chef receives from 20,000 to 27,000 maximum. Cafe chef 50-60 000. And this is hellish work and cannot be compared with office work. Someone might say, you have to go to an elite restaurant. I was there, and people work there, visitors and local residents, and the salary is exactly the same as everywhere else. It is better to implement your culinary skills on the Internet and give recipes to people who really need it.
